Meet Paty

Paty Emrick’s real estate career began three decades ago. Before working as a broker, she was a young mother and college student. Now, she works out of John L. Scott’s Medford office, helping clients buy and sell homes around Medford, Ashland and Grants Pass.

When servicing clients, it’s Paty’s mission to fulfill their dreams by providing outstanding service, innovative ideas, a high-energy approach, strong ethical standards and appropriate assertiveness. Clients choose Paty because she views obstacles as challenges and doesn’t rest until every problem is solved. She’s also a people person, and enjoys working with others from all different walks of life and backgrounds. Though she brings 30 years of experience to the table, a drive for constant innovation and a willingness to try different things ensures that Paty’s approach is tailored and effective.

Paty’s love for people shows in her real estate approach – she’s quick to return phone calls, respond to emails and follows through on commitments she’s made with clients. To market listings, she often promotes them on social media, maintains relationships with past clients who may be looking to move and maintains a solid client retention management (CRM) platform. Continuing education and professional development is important to Paty, and she holds multiple designations and serves on John L. Scott’s relocation team.

Paty specializes in residential real estate, and has a variety of transactions under her belt – including rural properties, new home construction, resale properties, foreclosures, investments and second homes. Paty is of Colombian and Basque descent and speaks Spanish and Italian fluently, and often works with the Hispanic community in the area. Additionally, she has experience working with senior citizens and golfing communities.

Initially drawn to the flexibility of the profession, Paty’s passion for real estate has evolved over the years. Now, she appreciates the flexibility but also likes the sense of professional prestige and accomplishment she feels after helping her clients reach their dreams. On a personal level, the lasting relationships with a diverse group of clients mean each day is interesting, challenging and rewarding.

Helping people realize their dreams is a daily inspiration for Paty. Her knowledge, experience, and passion for real estate is deeply rewarding to her both intellectually and emotionally. Additionally, the kind and caring relationships she is able to foster with her clients and friends provide deep fulfillment for Paty.

Paty has a variety of interests that provide balance in her life, including dancing, music, cooking, nutrition and travel. Additionally, she is passionate about photography and is a “foodie” at heart. She is also involved with various civic groups and organizations in her local community.
